Federal Style Serpentine Inlaid Mahogany Sideboard - FOR PICK UP OR TRANSPORT ONLY, WILL NOT SHIP A mahogany veneered serpentine sideboard featuring a bow-front center section flanked by two concave cupboards. The piece is constructed with bookmatched flame mahogany reserves and decorative string and band inlays throughout the facade. The surface top follows the serpentine contour of the case with a slight overhang. The central configuration consists of a single upper cutlery drawer with machine-cut dovetail joinery over a decorative arched apron. The flanking cupboard doors open to provide open interior storage cavities. The sideboard is supported by six square tapered legs, including four across the front and two at the rear, each terminating in spade feet. Hardware includes circular pressed metal rosettes with drop ring pulls and inset metal keyhole escutcheons. The rear backing panel bears a faded rectangular adhesive label or stencil ghost, but no characters are legible.
