Two US Military Surplus Steel Ammunition Cans - Two steel military-style ammunition cans finished in olive drab paint. Each container features a rectangular form with a hinged lid, a folding top carry handle, and a tension-locking front latch. The larger container displays yellow stenciled text on one side reading 800 CRTG 5.56MM 4 BALL M855 1 TRACER M856 M27 LINK LC-08K694L026. The smaller container is stenciled in yellow on one side with 840 CRTG 5.56MM BALL followed by a yellow solid circle and M855 10 ROUND CLIPS LC-09C387-208. Both lids have been hand-marked in black ink with 45 AUTO; the smaller lid also includes the handwritten notations Boxed Ammo and other partially legible characters. A white adhesive label is present on the handle of the larger can. The larger can measures approximately 7 1/2 inches wide by 12 inches long by 10 inches high.
