Kshava Still Life with Glass and Bottle of Muga Rioja 1991 Oil on Canvas - A contemporary still life oil on canvas painting featuring a glass of red wine beside a bottle of 1991 Muga Rioja Reserva. The composition is set against a wooden wine barrel background, rendered with thick, visible brushwork and a warm color palette of amber, ochre, and deep red tones. The artist has signed the work in the lower left corner in red pigment with the name Kshava. The painting is housed in a substantial, multi-tiered gilt wood frame. The frame features a distressed craquelure finish, a carved leaf-and-vine motif on the outer edge, and a beaded inner liner. The reverse of the canvas shows a wooden stretcher with metal staples. The frame reverse is finished in black paint. Several handwritten inscriptions are present on the verso: a black marker notation reading P2-29430K160 on the top stretcher bar, and +H-42 and 2019B210 on the frame. A white adhesive label on the frame identifies the molding as Open Frame 12X16 Ant Gold Crkle w/Blk 1 1/4 and notes a Matching Liner.Overall Frame Height: 24.5 inchesOverall Frame Width: 20.5 inchesOverall Frame Depth: 5 inches.
