Heavy Large Black Cast Resin Classical Trotting Horse Sculpture on Tiered Plinth - A large decorative sculpture of a trotting horse rendered in a classical style. The horse is depicted in mid-stride with its front right leg raised in a dynamic gait. The figure is constructed of cast resin with a matte black surface finish intended to simulate the appearance of basalt or patinated bronze. The horse is mounted upon an integral tiered rectangular plinth base, which is further supported by a thin, dark stone-effect composite slab. The underside of the base features a dark, fibrous surface material, sections of which have been removed to reveal a lighter composite interior. There are no visible signatures, foundry marks, or maker identifications on the piece.
