Large Blown Glass and Cast Metal Egg Shaped Centerpiece Urn with Elephant Figural Handles - A three part decorative centerpiece urn in an elongated egg form, featuring clear blown glass components and cast metal fittings with an antiqued bronze tone finish. The central glass vessel is encircled by a metal rim decorated with a continuous heart and spade motif frieze. Three stylized elephant head handles with elongated, down turned trunks are mounted to this rim. The vessel is covered by a matching blown glass domed lid, which is topped with a cast metal bud style finial. The urn is supported by a separate tripod base. The interior floor of the base features a relief decorated circular panel depicting a central rosette surrounded by grapevines and floral scrolls, while the exterior is ornamented with repeating leaf patterns and rests on three feet shaped as animal paws.
