Carolina Mirror Company Gilt Framed Wall Mirror with Ribbon Crest - A rectangular wall mirror featuring a gilt finished frame with a distinctive openwork crest. The crest is designed in a scrolled ribbon and bow motif. The mirror plate is set with a deep perimeter bevel. The reverse side consists of a solid fiberboard backing secured with metal glaisier points. The backing features two printed adhesive labels. One white rectangular label at the top reads CAROLINA MIRROR COMPANY followed by a quality assurance statement beginning WHERE QUALITY IS MORE THAN AN IMAGE. The label includes a small logo with the letters CM. A second white label positioned lower on the right side is titled HOW TO HANG THIS MIRROR and provides illustrated instructions for wall mounting. The top of the fiberboard backing is also marked with the handwritten characters 918 BEV in black ink.
