The piece is constructed with figured walnut veneers on the exterior, featuring symmetrical book-matched grain patterns on the two main door panels. The wardrobe is designed in a traditionalist Queen Anne revival style, characterized by a double-arched cresting rail and supported by four cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. The interior is finished in a straight-grained light-colored wood. The left compartment provides an open space for full-length hanging garments, while the right compartment contains a fixed upper shelf above a partial-width hanging rod. The doors are secured with brass-toned butt hinges and feature two metal pendant-style pulls. A rectangular metal label is affixed to the interior with two pins, featuring a decorative scrollwork border surrounding the brand name BUTILUX in block letters, with macrons over the letter U. Below the name, the label reads REGD. TRADE MARK in smaller block characters.
