Chinoiserie Style Octagonal Lacquered Wood Pedestal Side Table - A tall, narrow octagonal pedestal side table featuring a Chinoiserie aesthetic with a black lacquered finish and gold painted accents. The octagonal top is inset with a dark, figured wood veneer showing a prominent natural grain, surrounded by a raised and beveled lacquered border. The apron is designed with an integrated single drawer that pulls out from one of the octagonal facets. The structure is supported by four long, square tapered legs that transition into flared, scrolled feet at the base. An octagonal lower shelf joins the legs, mirroring the shape of the tabletop. The entire exterior surface, including the legs and shelf, is finished in black lacquer with a deliberate crackled texture, highlighted by gold-painted borders along the edges of the top, apron, and drawer front.
