Singerie Style Cast Metal Monkey Candelabra Base - A cast metal sculpture of a monkey presented in the Singerie tradition, wearing 18th-century style attire including a cravat, a flared frock coat, and breeches. The figure stands with both arms raised above its head. The hands are cast to hold an object and each features an integrated threaded screw post, indicating this figure originally functioned as the central support for a two-light candelabra or similar decorative light fixture. The metal has a dark brown patina with a textured surface consistent with sand casting. It is mounted onto a separate, stepped oval base composed of polished black stone. No signatures, foundry marks, or inscriptions are visible on the metal figure or the base.Height: 14.5 inches (to the top of the threaded posts)Width: 7.25 inches (at widest point of the arms)Base: 5.5 inches x 3.5 inches.
