Carved Patinated Wood Telescope Eye Goldfish Sculpture on Brass Stand - A decorative sculpture featuring a telescope-eye goldfish, characterized by its prominent protruding spherical eyes and a voluminous, flowing fantail. The fish is carved from a dark, dense wood and finished with a dark brown to black patina that emphasizes the textured scales across the body and the linear, undulating grooves of the fins and tail. The sculpture is elevated by a slender, curved brass-finish metal rod, which is mounted to a circular, stepped brass base. The underside of the base appears to be covered with a protective felt layer.
