The design features a shaped, scalloped top rail supported by fifteen turned spindles. The seat is composed of six horizontal slats set into a frame. The side panels are shaped to form both the legs and the supports for curved, flat-top armrests, characterized by decorative circular cut-outs at the seat level and arched bases forming the feet. The back is slightly reclined. The construction shows prominent open grain and ray fleck patterns characteristic of oak.
