American Bicentennial Ball Ideal Aquamarine Glass Jar with Assortment of Clay and Glass Marbles - An American-made aquamarine-tinted glass canning jar, identified by the embossed script wordmark Ball above the word IDEAL on the front. The reverse features a large embossed circular seal for the United States Bicentennial, with the upper perimeter reading CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION and the lower perimeter reading 1776 - 1976. The center of the seal depicts an American eagle with a shield. The neck of the jar is embossed with the word SIDE on one side and WIRE on the opposite side to indicate the placement of the closure. The base area below the commemorative seal is embossed MADE IN USA. The jar is fitted with its original glass lid and a metal wire bail closure mechanism.The jar contains an assortment of marbles, featuring several unglazed clay or stonie marbles in earth tones including gray, tan, and off-white. The collection also includes various glass marbles, including a translucent deep cobalt blue marble and a yellow-green marble.Height: 5 1/4 inches to the top of the glass lid; 5 3/4 inches to the top of the wire bail handle.
