Elvis Presley Commemorative Ceramic Whiskey Decanter 1935-1977 - A ceramic commemorative whiskey decanter in the form of an Elvis Presley bust. The piece is constructed in two parts: a white-glazed ceramic stopper depicting the artist in his signature high-collared jumpsuit, and a dark brown-glazed rectangular ceramic base that serves as the liquid reservoir. The front of the base features an integral relief-molded rectangular plaque with white lettering that reads ELVIS 1935-1977. The reverse of the decanter retains portions of a paper tax stamp that originally sealed the head to the base; the stamp shows printed characters including the number 1980. Below this, the back of the base shows a rectangular area of adhesive residue and paper loss from a missing secondary label. No other manufacturer marks or stamps are visible on the exterior surfaces shown.Height: 10.5 inchesWidth: 6.5 inchesDepth: 5.5 inches.
