Hand-Colored Enlarged Portrait in Art Nouveau Frame with Convex Glass - A large-format, hand-colored portrait photograph, likely produced via a solar enlargement or crayon portrait process typical of the early 20th century. The image depicts a woman in a three-quarter profile wearing a high-collared, ruffled pink blouse and a thin gold-toned chain necklace with a pendant. The portrait is set under a piece of convex bubble glass within an ornate wooden frame. The frame features a metallic gold-toned finish over gesso molding, decorated in an Art Nouveau style with stylized floral scrollwork at the top crest and bottom corners. The reverse of the frame features two vertical wooden supports and three horizontal reinforcing bands.
