Vintage Whitehouse and Pulliam Insurance Enamel Metal Advertising Thermometer - A mid-century promotional wall thermometer advertising Whitehouse and Pulliam Insurance. The thermometer is constructed from cream-colored enameled metal with a raised rectangular red border framing three distinct sections. The upper section features printed black text reading WHITEHOUSE & PULLIAM INSURANCE Phone 673-3188 Chaplin - Ky. The middle section contains a central glass tube filled with red liquid, mounted against a Fahrenheit scale ranging from -70 to 120 degrees. The scale includes markings for ZERO and FREEZING. A small number 21 is printed below the 40-degree mark on the right side of the scale. The lower section is printed with the names H. B. PULLIAM and ROGER WHITEHOUSE in black block lettering. The sign is designed with a shaped top and bottom, each featuring a single mounting hole for wall installation.
