Bidspirit auction | A Pair of Decoupage Floral

A Pair of Decoupage Floral Vases with Gold Glitter Accents - This pair of decorative vases features mixed-media decoupage and textile-overlay techniques. The taller vessel is formed with a flared, ruffled rim and an ovoid body, finished with a blue-ground fabric or paper overlay printed with multi-colored pansy motifs in shades of purple, pink, and yellow. The wider vessel follows a classic amphora-like form with a short, slightly flared rim and broad shoulders, decorated with a black-ground material featuring a scrolling foliate and floral pattern in pink, tan, and cream tones. Both items are heavily detailed with textured gold glitter or metallic paint applied as outlines to the floral patterns and around the rims. The interior of the ruffled vase reveals the underside of the decorative layer, suggesting a clear base material such as glass. No maker marks, signatures, or factory stamps are visible on either piece.Height: 14.5 inches (Tall Vase)Width: 5.5 inches at widest point (Tall Vase).
