Large Dazey Churn No 8 Glass Butter Churn - A large glass and metal hand-cranked butter churn manufactured in the United States. The item features a molded cloverleaf-shaped glass jar, a cast metal lid and gearing mechanism, and internal wooden components. The metal crank mechanism features a football-style open frame with interlocking gears and a wooden handle grip. Internally, a central metal rod connects to a four-blade wooden paddle assembly. The gear frame is cast with the word DAZEY above the horizontal axle. The underside of the glass jar features extensive embossed lettering arranged in a circular pattern around the center. The top arc reads DAZEY CHURN while the center is marked PAT APP FOR above NO 8. The bottom arc reads DAZEY CORPORATION with the smaller text ST LOUIS MO and MADE IN USA visible above the lower rim.Width: 9 inches at the widest point of the jar.Height: 14.5 inches to the top of the metal mechanism.
