Amber Glass Moon and Star Pattern Finger Oil Lamp with Plume and Atwood Burner - A vintage amber-colored pressed glass oil lamp featuring the Moon and Star pattern. This non-electric finger lamp is constructed with a translucent amber fount and a matching ruffled-rim chimney. The glass decoration consists of raised circular medallions containing multi-pointed stars, alternating with vertical elongated oval indentations and beaded details. The lamp includes a brass-toned metal burner assembly. A circular thumbwheel on the burner is stamped with the manufacturer's name, reading P & A. MFG. CO. WATERBURY CONN. U.S.A. in impressed capital letters. The fount is designed with an integral glass loop handle for handheld use.
