Anthropomorphic Taxidermy Juvenile Raccoon in Upholstered Armchair - A full-body taxidermy mount of a juvenile North American raccoon (Procyon lotor) arranged in an anthropomorphic seated pose. The specimen is depicted sitting in a miniature wooden armchair with its legs crossed and its right front paw raised in a waving gesture. The chair features green and white diamond-patterned upholstery on the seat and inner back, trimmed with brown vinyl and decorative brass-toned tacks. The rear of the chair is finished with a dark brown fabric panel secured by silver-toned staples. The mount is constructed using internal wire and foam forms, with visible wire and staple construction on the underside and back. The fur displays characteristic black facial masking, grizzled gray and brown body coloration, and a ringed tail. A dark brown fabric panel is stapled to the back of the chair, and a bent metal wire is visible at the lower right corner of the rear panel (photo 5).
