Large Scale Teak Wood Eagle Sculpture on Integrated Pedestal - NOT AVAILABLE FOR SHIPPING, PICK UP OR TRANSPORT ONLY - A large-scale sculpture of an eagle depicted in a dynamic pose with outstretched wings, perched upon a separate but integrated wooden pedestal. The work is constructed through an assemblage of natural teak root and driftwood segments, joined with fasteners and adhesives to form the anatomical features and layered, textured plumage. The head is carved with defined eyes and a hooked beak, oriented in a downward gaze. The pedestal is composed of vertical organic wood forms arranged to create a stable, trunk-like support, terminating in a carved base representing a rocky outcrop where the eagle’s talons are positioned. The wood surfaces exhibit a polished, warm-toned finish, highlighting natural knots, fissures, and the varied grain patterns inherent to the organic material. No signatures, maker marks, or labels were identified on the piece.
