Large American Bison Hide Rug - A large tanned American bison (Bison bison) hide rug. The hide features characteristic thick, curly dark brown to tan fur on the dorsal side, showing natural color variations and density typical of the species. The fur is notably longer and darker on the head and shoulder areas, transitioning to shorter, lighter tan hair across the back. The underside consists of tanned yellow-orange suede leather. The specimen includes the original tail and four leg extensions. The hide appears to be a single, large skin without visible manufacturer labels or marks on either side. Approximately 90 inches from the edge of the head area to the tip of the tail; approximately 88 inches from the edge of the head area to the base of the tail.
