Italian Manufactured Replica Colt Model 1860 Army .44 Caliber Black Powder Revolver - An Italian manufactured black powder percussion revolver, produced as a replica of the Colt Model 1860 Army. The firearm is chambered for .44 caliber and features an 8 inch blued round barrel, a case hardened frame, loading lever, and hammer, and a brass trigger guard and backstrap. The blued cylinder is decorated with a roll engraved naval battle scene. The grip is a single piece of smooth, varnished wood. The top of the barrel is stamped with the uppercase serif text FOR BLACK POWDER ONLY - MADE IN ITALY. The right side of the frame features three stamped marks: a small crest under a star, a P N under a star, and the letters AA within a square cartouche. The underside of the frame, trigger guard, and backstrap are each stamped with the serial number 3710. A handwritten paper tag is attached to the trigger guard with a cord, stating COLT Replica (Italian 1970) Model 1860 Army .44 cal BP. SN: 3710. Overall length: 14 inches.
