Smith and Wesson Model 34-1 Nickel Plated Revolver with Box - A Smith and Wesson Model 34-1 double-action revolver chambered for .22 Long Rifle. The firearm is constructed with a nickel-plated finish on a J-frame with a square butt configuration and a 2-inch barrel. It features a six-shot swing-out cylinder with recessed chambers, a ramp front sight, and an adjustable rear sight. The grips are checkered walnut with silver-tone medallions featuring the Smith and Wesson logo. The left side of the barrel is stamped SMITH and WESSON. The right side of the barrel is stamped .22 L.R. CTG. The right side of the frame features a stamped Smith and Wesson trade mark logo and a four-line address reading MADE IN U.S.A., MARCAS REGISTRADAS, SMITH and WESSON, SPRINGFIELD, MASS. Upon opening the cylinder, the crane is stamped MOD. 34-1. The butt of the grip frame is stamped with the serial number M7804. A brown paper tag is attached to the trigger guard with a handwritten inscription reading Smith and Wesson, Model 34-1, cal .22 LR, SN: M7804. The revolver is accompanied by a two-piece gray cardboard box with blue printing; the top of the box features the Smith and Wesson logo and text reading Smith and Wesson, A BANGOR PUNTA COMPANY, Springfield, Mass. A small yellow adhesive label on the box lid is inscribed with the number 7591. The cardboard box measures approximately 8.25 inches in length.
