The rifle features a dark parkerized finish on the receiver, barrel, and stamped steel components, including the trigger guard and floor plate. The stock is constructed of walnut with a straight grip and a handguard secured by a single metal band. The receiver is fitted with a rear aperture sight, and a blade front sight is protected by a removable steel hood. The barrel near the muzzle is stamped with a small numeral 4. The bolt assembly shows a polished and blued finish with a knurled cocking piece. A metal buttplate is attached to the stock and includes a circular trapdoor.
