Japanese Nambu Type 14 Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster and Magazine - A Japanese Nambu Type 14 semi-automatic pistol, 8mm caliber, accompanied by a leather clamshell holster, one magazine, and a printed information sheet. The pistol features a blued finish, ribbed wooden grip panels, a circular cocking knob, and an enlarged trigger guard. The right side of the receiver bears a circular arsenal mark, an unidentified character, and the serial number 88695. Below this is a character followed by 16.1, representing a manufacture date in the 16th year of the Sh?wa era (January 1941). The left side of the receiver is marked with four Japanese characters ???? (Type 14). A manual safety lever is present on the left side with characters ? (Fire) and ? (Safe). The metal magazine features a serrated aluminum base. The brown leather clamshell holster is constructed with a brass closure stud and a small exterior pouch. The lot includes a folded paper information sheet titled NAMBU Type 14 Pistol By E. J. Hoffschmidt. Holster length: approximately 10 inches.
