Mauser C96 Semi-Automatic Broomhandle Pistol with Reference Booklet - A German Mauser C96 semi-automatic pistol chambered in 7.63x25mm Mauser, accompanied by a softcover reference booklet titled Know Your Broomhandle Mausers by R.J. Berger, published by Blacksmith Corporation. The pistol features the classic broomhandle grip design with horizontal wood serrations and an integral box magazine located forward of the trigger guard. The metal components are constructed of steel with a lanyard ring attached to the base of the grip frame. The right side of the frame is stamped WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF A NECKAR. The top of the barrel extension is marked WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF A/N. The rear of the barrel extension and the frame both bear the matching stamped serial number 492808. The top of the bolt is stamped with the last four digits of the serial number 2808. The hammer is marked with a stylized interlocking NS monogram, signifying New Safety (Neue Sicherung). The rear tangent sight is graduated with impressed numerals from 50 to 1000. The wooden grips feature hand-painted yellow characters reading P 3-3 and additional illegible black markings over a yellow bar.
