Mills Novelty Co. 5 Cent Poinsettia Gooseneck Slot Machine - A Mills Novelty Co. mechanical 5-cent slot machine, referred to as the Poinsettia model, featuring a cast aluminum front panel with a hammered texture and decorative floral motifs. The front panel is embellished with relief-cast poinsettia flowers painted red with yellow centers and green leaves. A small embossed owl figure with yellow eyes is visible on the lower right of the casting. The machine is housed in an oak cabinet featuring stenciled golden scrollwork at the corners. A gooseneck coin intake at the top is fitted with a circular red emblem reading 5c. The casting above the coin window features an embossed bell motif inscribed with the date 1776. The front panel displays a serial number 255572 impressed into the metal on the right side. A paper award card is mounted behind glass on the left, detailing winning combinations of bells and fruits with associated payouts.
