Two Blue Grass No. T-BG-317 Adjustable Hacksaws - Two vintage adjustable hacksaws with steel frames and molded plastic handles. Both tools feature a central metal spine with impressed characters reading BLUE GRASS No. T-BG-317. The first saw has a heavily patinated frame and a light blue plastic handle secured with slot-head screws; the side of this handle is molded with the name BLUE GRASS. The second saw has a chrome-plated frame and a dark blue plastic handle secured with solid rivets. This handle features the molded inscription MADE IN U.S.A. on one side. Both frames utilize a wing-nut tensioning mechanism at the base of the handle and a pin-style blade attachment at the front. The top saw is fitted with a heavily rusted blade, while the bottom saw has a blue-painted blade. Measurement references indicate a frame depth of approximately 4 inches and a total length extending past 17 inches. Height: 4 inches Length: 17 1/4 inches.
