A Collection of Vintage Blue Grass Belknap Steel Auger and Masonry Drill Bits in Original Packaging - An assortment of vintage American steel drill bits manufactured for Blue Grass. The collection includes several solid-center auger bits and multiple carbide-tipped masonry drills, alongside a single spade-style electric drill wood bit. The bits are constructed of steel, with several of the auger bits featuring a gold-toned protective finish. Each tool is housed in its original individual blue and clear vinyl sleeve. The packaging features a white cloud-shaped logo containing the words BLUE GRASS in stylized blue lettering. The lower portions of the sleeves are printed with the text BELKNAP LOUISVILLE U.S.A. and in some instances BELKNAP INC. LOUISVILLE, KY 40202. Several packages include white adhesive size labels or printed designations reading 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, and 7/8. One masonry drill sleeve has an adhesive price label with the handwritten numbers 2.50 in red ink. The spade bit is mounted on a white card backing labeled BLUE GRASS electric drill wood bit and MADE IN U.S.A. The auger bits measure approximately 9 to 10 inches in length, with the total length of the vinyl packaging reaching between 12 and 13 inches as measured by the provided tape (photo 4).
