Raccoon Taxidermy Pelt Rug with Paws and Claws - A professionally prepared taxidermy pelt of a North American raccoon (Procyon lotor), styled as a flat rug mount. The specimen features thick, grizzled gray and brown fur throughout the body, transitioning to a characteristic ringed tail with alternating black and tan bands. The pelt includes the head skin with ears, as well as four complete paws retaining visible claws. The leather underside is professionally tanned to a supple, light-tan suede finish. A handwritten mark in black ink is visible on the leather side near the head, consisting of the number 1 followed by an 8 or 0. The edges of the hide show irregular trimming consistent with the hand-tanning process. Length: 36 inches from the nose to the base of the tail; the tail extends an additional 6 inches. Width: 26 inches across the widest point of the hind legs.
