Two Antique Wooden and Brass Bound Levels Including Bluegrass Extra and Stanley - This lot features two antique wooden carpenter's levels. The first is a mahogany level constructed with a brass top plate and brass-bound side-viewing windows. The top metal plate is impressed with the text BLUEGRASS, EXTRA, B. & M. CO, and LOUISVILLE. The wood adjacent to the metal plate is impressed with the numerals 56. The second item is a wooden level featuring brass binding along the top and bottom edges. It contains five openings: three for spirit vials and two carved hand grips. A circular mark is stamped into the wood which includes the readable text STANLEY. Both tools feature traditional spirit vial mechanisms for horizontal and vertical leveling. The mahogany level measures approximately 30 inches in length.
