Vintage Belknap Blue Grass Galvanized Steel Bucket with Original Label - A vintage galvanized steel bucket featuring a tapered cylindrical form with two horizontal reinforcement ribs and a crimped base. The vessel is equipped with a wire bail handle attached to two integrated loops at the rim. Centered on the exterior is a rectangular paper adhesive label with a blue border. The label features a central four-lobed gold-toned cartouche containing a bell icon and the printed text: EXTRA QUALITY, BLUE GRASS, TRADE, MARK, and LOUISVILLE, KY. 40201. The label further reads A DEPENDABLE to the left and SINCE 1840 to the right. The bottom of the label is printed BELKNAP, INC. • LOUISVILLE, KY. 40201. A faint, possibly embossed or stamped number 1122 is visible on the right side of the label surface. The interior shows a vertical seam and circular base construction typical of utilitarian galvanized pails. Across the top rim: 11.5 inches Height: 9.25 inches.
