Belknap Blue Grass Steel Tool Box with Interior Tray - A vintage steel tool box manufactured for the Belknap Hardware Co. under the Blue Grass brand. The box features a classic barn-top silhouette and is finished in a blue hammertone textured coating. A silver-tone metal handle is mounted to the lid, and the front is secured by two draw-bolt latches. The back of the lid is attached with a full-length piano hinge. The interior contains a removable blue hammertone steel tote tray with a central rounded handle. Centered on the front of the box is a rectangular metal plate with red and silver printing. The plate reads: BELKNAP HARDWARE CO., BLUE GRASS in large bold lettering, ESTABLISHED 1840, T5-BG 7720, and LOUISVILLE KENTUCKY.
