Vintage Belknap Blue Grass Vulcanized Fiber Sample Case - A mid-century industrial utility storage trunk or sample case constructed from black vulcanized fiber with reinforced metal corner guards and brass-tone hardware. The case features a three-latch closure system on the front, including two spring-loaded side latches and a central locking latch with a circular keyhole. The lid is secured at the rear by a continuous metal piano hinge. The front panel is equipped with a heavy-duty, black leather-wrapped handle held by two metal D-ring brackets. The interior of the case is lined with a textured, grass-green paper or fabric material. A large rectangular paper shipping label is adhered to the front face below the latch, showing a printed blue border and text.
