Standard Oil 5 Gallon Metal Motor Oil Can - A vintage cylindrical metal fuel can featuring a blue and white painted finish and a fixed wire bale handle. The front of the can displays the Standard Oil company logo within a cream shield on a blue ground. Below the logo, printed blue text on a white rectangular ground reads CALOL / MOTOR OIL / SAE. 30 / SERVICES MM-MS. The top of the can is equipped with two threaded metal caps. Hand-marked characters in black ink reading KERO appear on both sides of the handle on the top surface. The lower portion of the can features a blue band with white text, although only the word COMPANY is clearly legible at the bottom front. The can is constructed of seamed sheet metal with a rolled top rim. A tape measure indicates the diameter across the top surface is approximately 11.5 inches. The height to the top of the flat surface is approximately 14 inches, and the height to the top of the extended handle is approximately 18 inches.
