Two Belknap Blue Grass Red Painted Wood Levels - This lot features two vintage carpenter's levels constructed from wood with a red-painted finish. Each level incorporates brass-plated top plates secured with screws and inset glass spirit vials for horizontal and vertical measurements. Both tools bear a decorative gold-tone decal on one end. On the upper level, a printed oval cartouche contains the words BLUE GRASS, with BELKNAP above the oval and LOUISVILLE below it. To the right of the decal are the alphanumeric codes T5 BG5 and the length 18. The lower level displays a similar, though more worn, printed decal where the words BELKNAP, BLUE GRASS, and LOUISVILLE are visible within a matching frame.
