Antique Belknap Hardware and Manufacturing Company Brass Blowtorch - This antique blowtorch features a cylindrical brass fuel reservoir, a wooden handle, and a cast iron burner assembly. The side of the brass tank is impressed with a literal mark arranged in four lines: BELCO / 2100 / BELKNAP HDW & MFG. CO / LOUISVILLE, KY. This indicates the tool was manufactured for or distributed by the Belknap Hardware and Manufacturing Company, a significant American firm based in Kentucky. The tool is equipped with a vertically oriented wooden handle featuring a ribbed grip and remnants of a white painted finish.
