Belknap Fiberglas Insulated Metal Beverage Jug - A mid-century insulated beverage jug featuring a cylindrical metal body with a textured, turquoise-blue hammered finish. The vessel is constructed with a horizontal seam around the middle and a vertical seam at the rear. It is equipped with a bright orange threaded plastic lid and a white plastic pour spout or vent cap mounted on the shoulder. A wire bail handle is attached via aluminum brackets on either side. Affixed to the front is a shield-shaped foil label printed in blue, red, and gold tones. The label features a cursive wordmark reading ”Belknap” above printed text that reads ”FIBERGLAS INSULATED JUG,” ”keeps HOT or COLD,” and ”Belknap - Louisville, Ky.” The upper left corner of the label bears a red and white graphic of a bell.
