A Pair of Towle Sterling Silver Teaspoons in the Candlelight Pattern - This lot consists of a pair of solid sterling silver teaspoons produced by Towle Silversmiths in the Candlelight pattern, which was introduced in 1934. Each spoon features a handle decorated with a refined relief border of scrolls and floral motifs framing a polished central panel. The reverse of each bowl is finished with distinctive shell-like scalloped ribbing radiating from the handle junction. The reverse of the handles is stamped with the maker's hallmark (a stylized T within a shield), TOWLE STERLING, and a registered trademark symbol. The pattern name Candlelight is inscribed in script. One spoon is additionally stamped with the patent year Pat. 1934. No monograms are present. Length: 6 inches Weight: 52 grams (per spoon); approximately 104 grams total.
