A Pair of Towle Sterling Silver Teaspoons in the Candlelight Pattern - A pair of American sterling silver teaspoons manufactured by Towle Silversmiths in the Candlelight pattern, which was patented in 1934. The handles feature a tapered form with a central smooth panel flanked by delicate floral and scrollwork borders. The oval bowls exhibit an embossed shell-like fluted design on the reverse. The reverse of each handle is stamped with the Towle maker's mark consisting of a stylized letter T within a shield, TOWLE STERLING, PAT. 1934, a registered trademark symbol, and the pattern name Candlelight in script.
