A Pair of Towle Sterling Silver Candlelight Pattern Cream Soup Spoons - A pair of sterling silver cream soup spoons in the Candlelight pattern by Towle Silversmiths. First introduced in 1934, this pattern features a flared handle with a raised central ridge flanked by a border of delicate floral blossoms and scrolled foliage. The bowls are characterized by a decorative fluted, shell-like design. The reverse of each handle bears the Towle manufacturer hallmark of a lion within a shield. Stamped markings include TOWLE STERLING Pat. 1934 R on one handle and the hallmark followed by TOWLE STERLING R Candlelight on the other.
