Hubley Texan Jr. Toy Cap Gun - This Hubley Texan Jr. model is a vintage break-action revolver-style toy cap gun. The item is constructed of die-cast metal with a silver-tone finish and features cream-colored plastic grips designed to simulate ivory. The barrel, cylinder, and frame display extensive cast-in floral scrollwork decoration. Each plastic grip features a high-relief embossed steer head design and an inset circular medallion containing a red five-pointed star. The characters TEXAN JR. are cast into both sides of the frame within a rope-bordered panel. The name HUBLEY is cast into the side of the ejector rod housing on the barrel. The interior metal surfaces, visible when the break-action mechanism is opened, are cast with the markings HUBLEY, LANCASTER PA., MADE IN U.S.A., 2500, and PAT. PEND.
