A Trio of Goebel Hummel Porcelain Figurines including Serenade, Little Gabriel, and Spring Cheer - A trio of hand-painted polychrome porcelain figurines manufactured by Goebel in Germany, based on the original illustrations of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel. The collection comprises three distinct models from the mid-20th century. The first figurine is Serenade (St‰ndchen), Hummel model number 85, depicting a young boy in an oversized black top hat and brown swallowtail jacket playing a recorder. The base edge features the incised M.J. Hummel signature and a gold foil title label, while the underside bears the incised model number 85 0 and a blue underglaze Goebel TMK-5 trademark (1972-1979). The second figurine is Little Gabriel, Hummel model number 32/0, featuring a winged angel in an orange tunic playing a trumpet. It includes a gold foil title label on the base edge and a blue underglaze Goebel TMK-4 trademark (1964-1972) on the underside with incised model number 32/0. The third figurine is Spring Cheer, Hummel model number 72, showing a young girl in a green dress holding flowers. The base edge is incised with the M.J. Hummel signature and the underside bears the incised model number 72 and a blue underglaze Goebel TMK-4 trademark.
