Two Goebel M.J. Hummel Porcelain Figurines, Meditation and A Star For You - This lot features two hand-painted porcelain figurines from the M.J. Hummel collection by Goebel, Germany. The first figurine is titled A Star For You (Ein Stern f¸r dich) and depicts two children in winter attire; a girl in a red coat and a boy in a yellow sweater with a blue scarf. This piece is a limited edition, numbered 0636 of 7,500 on the base, and carries model number 2222 with a 2005 Goebel backstamp and the handwritten mark WE05. The second figurine is titled Meditation and depicts a young girl in a traditional apron and red headscarf holding a letter and carrying a wicker basket on her arm. The base displays model numbers 13/0 and 49, alongside a West Germany Goebel backstamp featuring the stylized bee in a V trademark. Both figurines feature the incised M.J.
