Art Nouveau Cast Brass and Glass Desk Inkstand - This Art Nouveau desk accessory consists of an ornate cast brass stand and a removable square glass inkwell with a matching brass lid. The stand features characteristic Art Nouveau styling with asymmetrical flowing lines, whiplash curves, and organic pierced foliate work. It is supported by four scrolled feet and includes an integrated tray area for pens or small desk items. The clear molded glass inkwell is square in form with beveled corners. The matching brass lid is decorated with radiating foliate relief and is topped with a central pointed finial. No manufacturer marks or signatures are visible on any of the components.
