A Pair of Vintage Hollywood Regency Style Gilt Metal and Marble Mantle Lustre Candlesticks - This matched pair of single-light mantle lustres is designed in the Hollywood Regency style with Rococo Revival influences. Each candlestick features a cast gilt-finished metal stem decorated with stylized foliate and acanthus leaf motifs. The stems support a circular gallery from which hang nine sets of two-part clear faceted glass prisms, each consisting of a small octagonal bead and a larger teardrop-shaped pendant. The candlesticks are mounted on tiered bases, featuring a circular white marble disk set between the stem and an ornate, four-footed cast metal base embellished with scrollwork and shell-like details. No maker's marks, labels, or signatures were observed on the base or body of either item. Height: Approximately 9 inches Base Diameter: Approximately 4.5 inches.
