19th C Continental Walnut Bench - A late nineteenth-century Continental walnut upholstered bench in a Baroque Revival taste. The long rectangular seat is raised on six boldly turned legs joined by shaped, interlacing stretchers centered by turned finials. Dark later upholstery covers the top, while the underside reveals woven seat support. The rhythmic stretcher work gives the bench a particularly architectural profile.
