Pair Composite Planter Urns on Scroll Stands - Date: Late 20th or 21st century Period/Style: Baroque and Neoclassical revival Materials: Molded composite with black and gold-colored painted finish Form: Pair of planter urns with separate scroll stands Description: A pair of tall molded composite planter urns on matching ornamental stands, finished in black with gold-colored relief decoration. Each removable urn has a flared, lobed rim above a rounded body encircled by oval foliate cartouches and hanging swags. The supporting stand has a circular shelf, pendant fluted ornament and a tall curved scroll standard enriched with acanthus leaves, ribbing and volutes. Each stand rises from a stepped square plinth with a narrow band of small leaves. Dimensions: 62 in. H overall, 18 in. W across the urn, 23 in. D, each assembled unit.
