Large Oak 3-Drawer Writing Table - Period/Style: Traditional country furniture, Renaissance taste Materials: Oak with metal ring pulls Form: Writing or library table with three frieze drawers and an H-stretcher Description: Large oak writing or library table with a broad rectangular plank top, softly rounded edges and projecting ends. Three frieze drawers have raised lozenge panels centered by metal ring pulls. Four substantial turned legs incorporate baluster sections, ring moldings and square lower blocks above rounded feet. Short end stretchers and a long central rail form an H-shaped stretcher beneath the case. The pale finished surface exposes grain variation and knots across the top, drawer fronts and turned supports. Dimensions: 31 in. H, 86.5 in. W, 31 in. D.
