Art Nouveau-Style Cut-Glass Prism Lamp - Date: Probably early 20th century Period/Style: Art Nouveau style Materials: Patinated metal, probably brass, with cut and frosted glass, glass pendants and electrical fittings Form: Two-light table lamp Description: Art Nouveau-style two-light table lamp, probably early 20th century, with a domed clear and frosted glass shade decorated with a radiating floral crown, flower heads, paired leaves and incised stems. A broad grooved metal shade ring supports a fringe of faceted glass prisms and draped bead chains. The shade rests above a central column framed by three curved, ribbed supports, rising from a fluted, stepped circular base. Two opposed sockets retain pull-chain fittings. Dimensions: 18 in.
